Based in the Twin Cities and Eau Claire, Irie Sol’s members hail from Belize, Brazil, Ecuador, Italy, Jamaica, Nepal, South Korea, Tanzania, and all over America and deliver an original blend of reggae, funk, jazz and rock with soaring, soulful melodies backed by blazing bebop horns, wailing guitar, and tight drum and bass.

    Willy Porter continues on a musical and personal odyssey spanning over two decades, 13 albums, and multiple continents. His journey has been defined by an inquisitive love for humanity and the language that describes what we all hold to be true. Willy's solo, acoustic performance for our last week of the 2025 LIVE @ the Lakefront season will feature songs from his soon-to-be-released 14th album, Humans In a Room.

    Green Bay-based and WAMI award-winning Luma Knotty serves up an original blend of guitar-driven Reggae, Funk and Rock to take audiences on an illuminated musical journey. Their original music and lyrics tell stories of love, loss, and awakening to create a more modern approach to reggae. 

    Sindoolaa

    Sindoolaa is a Milwaukee-based West African music collective founded by Senegalese musician, singer, and percussionist Oumar Sagna. Blending traditional rhythms from the Casamance region of Senegal with modern sounds, the large 10-member band features vibrant percussion, guitars, horns, and traditional instruments like the kora, along with traditional dancers.

    2026 WAMI Singer/Songwriter of the Year Paul Cebar plays with his band Tomorrow Sound. Blending rhythm and blues, soul, funk, Afro-Caribbean, Latin, New Orleans, and other world music styles, their genre-hopping sound defies categorization but is rooted in danceable, soulful and energetic grooves.

    Sugo

    Sugo is a Milwaukee-based music group specializing in 1970s New Orleans-style funk. Their live shows are often described as a "can't-sit-still, gotta-get-up-and-dance" experience with plenty of hip-shaking and head-bobbing. Their music is a mix of deeply rooted, bluesy soloing and glorious, disco-era funky rhythm.
